The resturant that is never open on Sundays, is the one we crave on Sundays. You probably have been there. You are want a really good chicken sandwich and it is Sunday Afternoon. As you pull up to the drive through to your favorite fastfood, you notice how empty the resturant is. Then it hits you, its Sunday and Chick-Fil-a is not open. Whats a hungry person supposed to do? Guess we have to go for the Big Mac

Re: Sunday restaurant meals. Our church has a sweet, humble couple (who will remain nameless) who have a wonderful & bold way to witness to waitresses. Prior to ordering their meal, they simply say that since the waitress will be serving them with the meal that they would like to honor her/him in some way; they then ask how they might pray for the waitress during their time to bless their food. I can’t do justice to explaining just how kind & sincere this husband & wife approach these situations but can testify that it always produces a blessing to all and opens up the line of communication to witnessing in a great way. Just something to consider (and to challenge myself and everyone in trying). And don’t forget to leave a “healthy” tip, especially if the waitress somehow knows that you’ve just come from church.

Ever tried to pick up a party of tray of chicken nuggets for your Super Bowl Party only to realize that the game starts in less than an hour and you’ll have to find something else to feed your football fans? I’ve done it! I LOVE Chick-Fil-A. Kudos to them for staying closed on Sunday (even thought it’s sometimes inconvenient for ME)!

O this is SO TRUE! My brothers and I are Chic-fil-a addicts and we always laugh about how our craving increase on Sundays.

Your craving doesn’t actually increase. You want it and it happens to be Sunday, and you want it more because you can’t have it.
